The Basics of Emotional Freedom Techniques (EFT)

In considering what this website “should” be, it first felt appropriate to re-create the basics of EFT here for your easy access. That was almost half finished when I came to my senses.

Gary Craig, who is a most generous man and the founder of EFT, has created all you need to begin your EFT journey. I had to finally ask myself why I would attempt to re-create here what Gary Craig has already done so well.

Let me tell you what Gary offers:

1. A first class 79-page free manual you can download at your own convenience.

2. A newsletter so chock full of articles, you may be overwhelmed at first.

   The key is to look at all the titles and then bring up just what you are interested in at that moment. Gary is very professional and makes sure that only the best and most meaningful articles about EFT get into the newsletter. Check it out and you will see what I’m talking about.




3. Nine sets of professional DVDs.

   Each set has at least 7 DVDs and one CD. The CD is either a manual or transcript of the DVDs. These are very well done and are sometimes the only way that people in isolated areas can learn EFT. I can’t tell you how many times I have watched them and I get something new out of them each time. In my humble opinion, anyone who wants to have a good, solid foundation in EFT will want to watch all of these DVDs – at least once, as well as attend a live workshop. You can find out about my live workshops in the “Trainings & Private Sessions” portion of this website. One thing I will tell you here, though, is that I limit the maximum number of participants in my Level 1 trainings to 22 – because I believe that everyone has a right to get their questions answered and to receive any individual attention that is required to truly learn. I want participants to leave my Level 1 training with the skills to start doing EFT with themselves and friends and family right away.

   Here’s a tip – when you watch the DVDs, just tap along no matter what the issue. Most of us don’t know even a small part of what really runs us and my experience is that you can clear all sorts of “stuff” without even knowing what it is. It can’t get much better than that, can it?

4. Here’s one of my favorite things about Gary Craig’s website. It is like a thousand page book! And it has its own search vehicle. You can put in anything from “lactose intolerance” to “abundance” to “dyslexia” to “PTSD” and get information about how to use EFT on that particular subject.

   When people ask Gary Craig if EFT will work on a particular issue, he has always said, “Try it.” And that’s what I also tell you here.
